Neighbourhood Investment:  £500,000 Secured

I secured £500,000 from the Government Budget over three years, fully dedicated to neighbourhood improvement schemes in St Helier. This is real, secured funding for visible, community-led changes in your streets. Budget

Greener Communities: GROW Project & La Pouquelaye Gardens

I was at the heart of transforming unused land into the La Pouquelaye community gardens and the GROW Project, working alongside volunteers to create shared green spaces that belong to the community.  Watch video

Safer Streets: Traffic Calming measures 

I delivered traffic calming measures and safer crossings across St Helier. La Pouquelaye,  St Johns road, Patrick Freely Lane and Sion became safer streets for everyone on foot.

Children & Education: Ministerial Delivery 

As Minister for Children and Education I delivered: the extension to Mont à l’Abbé School, hot school meals, free GP appointments for all children, student grant uplifts, investment in early years, two new children’s homes, and reduced off-island placements. We opened new early intervention and a neurodevelopment dedicated service. Read more

Ageing-Friendly Infrastructure:  Framework Adopted

I proposed and secured adoption of Jersey’s Ageing-Friendly Infrastructure Framework. Wider pavements. Better crossings. Accessible design. If it works for older residents, it works for everyone. Watch Video  Proposition 

Financial Accountability: PAC & Scrutiny

As Chair of the Public Accounts Committee and President of the Scrutiny Liaison Committee, I scrutinised public spending, challenged waste and pushed for value for money.  Video  Legacy report Scrutiny Legacy report  the PAC
