The heart of our Parish must work for the people who live and work here every day with cleaner streets, fairer parking, greener spaces and visible neighbourhood improvements that residents can see and feel.

As your Constable, I will focus on practical changes that improve everyday life and make the town centre more welcoming, liveable and full of life.

Neighbourhood Improvements: Visible and community-led

 

Neighbourhood improvements should be clear, visible and shaped by local people.

I will:

  • Make improvements easier to see and track
  • Support new investment where residents identify real needs
  • Ensure funding delivers practical, everyday changes

This means streets that feel cleaner, safer and better maintained where people can see the difference in their area.

A Town That Works for Dog Owners

Many people in St Helier Central live without access to private outdoor space.

Dog owners deserve facilities that reflect this.

As Constable, I will:

  • Identify and secure a dedicated dog park in the town centre
  • Improve dog bins and their maintenance
  • Make dog-friendly areas clear across the Parish

This supports responsible ownership, cleaner streets and better shared spaces for everyone.

Greener Streets

More life in every space. Greener streets make a real difference to how a town feels.

I will support:

  • More planting, street trees and greenery
  • Pocket parks and small public spaces
  • Improvements that make streets more welcoming and pleasant

Working with residents and businesses, we can bring life into underused spaces and create a more attractive, healthier environment.

Fair and Balanced Parking

Parking must work for residents, businesses and visitors. I will work towards a more joined-up and practical parking strategy
